What is an Everyday Hero?
An Everyday Hero is recognized for meritorious service beyond what is ordinary or expected and for doing so without regard for attention or receiving in return; but rather because it was the right thing to do and needed to be done. This qualifies the recipient as a true "Everyday Hero" and is to be recognized by all in the New York District of Kiwanis International.
